Isabelle Lewis is the promising band around Icelandic producer and composer Valgeir Sigurðsson, countertenor, director and performer Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe and violinist Elisabeth Klinck. Their debut album will be released in October 2024 under the renowned label Bedroom Community.

The fictional character Isabelle Lewis is the embodiment of their collective musical spirit, a nostalgic shapeshifter with three faces, each embodying a unique sound world. Musically, they bring strange pop close together with classical influences, atmospheric melancholy and an operatic pulse. The poetic and mysterious lyrics, the high operatic notes of Meirhaeghe, the refined electronics of Sigurðsson, the musical finesse of Klinck and their charismatic performance make this collaboration an absolute must-see.

The project is a co-production with B CLASSIC and the Northern Norwegian cultural festival Festspillene i Nord-Norge (Harstad), where Valgeir Sigurðsson was an associate artist in 2023, the Northern Norwegian classical festival Nordlysfestivalen (Tromsø) and C-mine.
